Under God's Wings, Trinity Lutheran Church, Brattleboro, March 13, 2022 Luke 13:34 Jesus said, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem… how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.” Covid caused mental health issues. The war in the Ukraine adds fuel to those fires. How do we deal with anxiety over things we cannot control? Each of us has matters to tend to – our own mountains to climb. Tend to what you can affect – your mountain. One step at a time. Tend to your mountain. Gather under God's wings. You may be surprised as to the unintended effects of your witness. At some level you will radiate a measure of peace. Pastor Jon Heydenreich presides, joined by Ron Solberg as assistant minister and Marsha Heydenreich is our musician today. No matter who you are in your walk of faith, or where you are in that journey, you are invited to the communion table at Trinity Lutheran Church.
