Description:

My Mountain, Trinity Lutheran Church, Brattleboro, VT, March 6, 2022 Exodus 19:20 So Moses went up to the top of the mountain… Luke 9:28 Jesus went up on a mountain to pray… Moses encountered God on Mt. Sinai. Jesus was transfigured on a mountain. Both had to climb up those mountains. What is the mountain we need to climb that God’s glory might shine through us? Do people see celebration when they look at us? Do they see the glory of God – do they see victory? Or do they see excuses. “I am too tired… too old… too busy….I can’t… This Lenten season think about a mountain in your life and begin to climb it, one step at a time. May we radiate victory every day. Climb. One step at a time. We each have a mountain before us. Pastor Jon Heydenreich presides, joined by Marsha Heydenreich as assistant minister, Gene Kuch as reader and Laura Josephs our musician. No matter who you are in your walk of faith, or where you are in that journey, you are invited to the communion table at Trinity Lutheran Church. Trinity Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation, more or less traditional and relaxed, and a Reconciling in Christ congregation where all are welcome.
