Our neighbor makes rock sculptures balancing rocks, sometimes as few as three rocks, other times as many as ten. The sculptures remind me to find the balance.

Pastor Jon's message today is about finding balance. Jesus taught "Be as wise as a serpent and as innocent as doves". Jesus taught is to use our gifts. Jesus also called his disciples to rest. Finding a healthy balance between work and rest is often hard to do.

Find the balance. Balance work with rest. Balance ambition with a call to service. Each day is a new call to rebuild balance in our lives.

Pastor Jon Heydenreich presides, joined by Mark Herman-May as assistant minister and Laura Josephs our musician. The Trinity Choir sings beautifully under the leadership of Laura Josephs.

No matter who you are in your walk of faith, or where you are in that journey, you are invited to the communion table at Trinity Lutheran Church. Trinity Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation, more or less traditional and relaxed, and a Reconciling in Christ congregation where all are welcome.
