- If we tend to John’s words - God is able; then we need face our temptations. God may be able to help us, but are we simply content where we are. We settle. We give up.
- At Christmas we look to the One who reaches a hand to us, who would take us someplace. When Jesus heals the man paralyzed by guilt, he tells him to get up and go. When he forgives the woman caught in adultery, he tells her to go. When he heals the people with skin diseases, he tells them to go. These folks are freed. Go. They are not given a life plan. Just go, you are free.
