Today Is About Thomas, Trinity Lutheran Church, Brattleboro, VT, April 24, 2022 John 20....Jesus told him (Thomas), "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Today's message focuses on Thomas. The Gospel of Thomas was discovered in the 1940's and still to this day is unknown to most. John said if we want to find God we must look to Jesus. While Thomas said if we want to find God we must look within ourselves. Today is about Thomas who said look within yourself to find God. "Third Day life" is the recognition that the presence of God is within us. We all have potential and possibility in this big world of doubt we live in. Let's look within and live into that third day life of resurrection and new beginning. Pastor Jon Heydenreich presides, joined by Ron Solberg as Assistant Minister, Beverly Wolf as reader, and Laura Josephs as musician. No matter who you are in your walk of faith, or where you are in that journey, you are invited to the communion table at Trinity Lutheran Church.
