Find Your Spiritual Place, Trinity Lutheran Church, Brattleboro, VT, February 27, 2022 Luke 9:28 Jesus… went up on the mountain… and the appearance of his face changed and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightening…” Jesus was transfigured on the mountaintop. In other words the disciples who were with him could see the glory of God through him. The light of God shined around Jesus! That happened on a mountaintop… and Jesus had to climb up there. Each of us has a mountain to climb that the glory of God might shine through us. For some it might be making a deliberate attempt to speak to someone we do not know. That can be difficult, but when we climb that mountain…the glory shines through us. For others that mountain may be making a lifestyle change – walking, exercise, a change in nutrition – but when we get there – the glory shines through us. We CAN do it. God has put that potential within us. One step at a time. Pastor Jon Heydenreich presides, joined by Mark Herman-May as assistant minister, Beverly Wolf as reader and Laura Josephs our musician.
