The Vermont Workers Center held its second March for Medicaid in Barre, Vermont on June 8, 2019. In March, 2019, the also held a march in St. Johnsbury, VT.
In cooperation with First Persbyterian Church, 19 Seminary Street, Barre, VT and with generous support from the City of Barre and the Barre Police Department, the March was lead from Seminary Street, up Main Street to the City Green.
From the gazebo on the Green, speeches and testimonies of health care experiences were given. After the March, everyone was fed bar-b-bue chicken by the Workers Centers People's Kitchen.
