Description:
This program records an open house for the start of ISA Community Solar project. The nature of the system is explained. How community solar grid distribution works and the equipment used is explained to attendees who are getting a portion of their electricity from this community solar installation.
The Producer, taper and editer, Kipton Tewksbury and his wife, Deborah, receive the kilowatts from 19 of the 120 panels.
The 2nd half of the program shows the various outputs of a solar panel when tilted at different angles to the sun and when shaded in various ways.
This program is a good primer on photovoltaics and the choices available for using solar generated electricity.
