VT Partnership for Fairness & Diversity ED Curtiss Reed Jr. discusses the Documentary "More Than a Month," the story of filmmaker Shukree Hassan Tilghman's cross-country campaign to end Black History Month--a humorous journey explores the complexity and contradictions of relegating an entire group's history to one month in a so-called 'post-racial' America, following the film's advanced screening at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center February 9, 2012.

Part of the Community Cinema program. Monthly screenings of cutting-edge documentary films soon to be aired on the PBS series Independent Lens. More at brattleborotv.org, vpt.org,  or brattleboromuseum.org.
