In the absence of county government, the Windham Regional Commission provides the essential link between local, state and federal government.  Join them for a wide array of presentations, public forums, and functions as they seek to publicize this key link.

The Commission serves the 27 towns of the Windham Region in Windham, Windsor, and Bennington counties.  Our mission is to assist towns in Southeastern Vermont to provide effective local government and work cooperatively with them to address regional issues.  Towns choose to be members of the WRC.

  • The public is invited to an information seminar: “Preserving Guilford’s Character: What are our tools?” presented by Matt Bachler, Senior Planner, Windham Regional Commission on Thursday, November 2 at 6:30 pm at the Broad Brook Community Center. He will review Act 250 requirements, current trends in Land Use Regulation in Vermont, regulatory and non-regulatory means available to towns to guide growth and development.
