John Ungerleider is a peace educator, dialogue facilitator, and youth program director who uses songs to bring people together to address conflicts and climate change. A professor of peacebuilding and conflict transformation at SIT, Brandeis, Marlboro, Hampshire, and CCV, John started youth empowerment programs serving thousands of teenagers from around the world. He now leads workshops on restorative justice practices in schools and facilitates domestic violence accountability and parenting programs with men. John wrote a participatory musical about global warming — Secret of the Seasons — and leads collective songwriting workshops to address feelings about conflict and violence — Sing Our Sides.
