About our guest artist: Emiiy Matthew-Muller @em3m_music Legend has it, Emily Matthew-Muller was born with a ukelele in her hand. Everyone was mystified. As the child grew, so the small, magical instrument became a guitar. As a toddler, Emily sang instead of talking. She wrote bars of music before she could write the alphabet. Ok, you get it--It's a legend! SHE'S a legend! Emily's talent for songwriting and performing flourished while studying at the Institute for Musical Arts (IMA), a magical queendom in Western Massachusetts that turns young women into rock stars. Now, at the ripe old age of 12, Emily enjoys freaking audiences out with her raw talent. She has opened for Arc Iris, shared the stage with Stephanie Marshall from the Box Car Lillies, and last summer's highlights included singing back-up vocals for Lake Street Dive at the Newport Folk Festival.
