"Much Ado About Nothing" is NEYT’s Summer Shakespeare 2021 film project, which made its worldwide premiere at the Latchis Theatre in Brattleboro, Vermont in October 2021. It’s summer in coastal Italy. The recent uprisings have been settled and the troops return home to their community victorious. In the ensuing celebration, skirmishes of love and wars of wit emerge, stoked by the lies and fake news of the malcontents. Trickery, mistaken identities, and secrets wreak havoc, and hilarity naturally follows. One of Shakespeare’s most produced and accessible comedies of the heart.
