Between Misery and a Peaceful Joy, September 5, 2021, Trinity Lutheran Church, Brattleboro, VT Our desires cause us much misery and suffering. The spirit of peace is always with us but gets covered over with desires that make us miserable. Today's message is about releasing those passions and desires and finding God's peace within. Transforming from "this is what I want" to accepting "what is" with gratitude. That is the transformation from the old to the new that will bring us peace. Pastor Jon Heydenreich presides, joined by Ron Solberg as assistant minister, and Ingrid Lukas-Howe as reader, and musician Laura Josephs. No matter who you are in your walk of faith, or where you are in that journey, you are invited to the communion table at Trinity Lutheran Church.
