Church Service 5/30/21

Holy Trinity Sunday, May 30, 2021, Trinity Lutheran Church, Brattleboro, VT Pastor Randy tackles the difficult concept of the Trinity - the unity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit - three persons of God in one. The concept of a three-in-one God became the Christian understanding about 50 years after the death of Jesus. When we pray the Apostles' Creed, written about 150 years after the death of the disciple's, we profess our faith in God, three-in-one, Creator, Savior and Spirit. Pastor Randall Wilburn presides today, Kris Grotz-Kuch is the Assistant Minister, Micaela Carlton Newton is our reader, Laura Josephs is our musician, and Ron Solberg reads a beautiful poem in honor of Pastor Randy's last Sunday with us. Pastor Randy has served our congregation as Intentional Interim Pastor since October, 2019 and is moving on to serve the congregation of Trinity Episcopal Church in Ware, MA. Beginning next Sunday, June 6th, Pastor Jon Heydenreich will lead our worship each Sunday in June.
