Empty Bowls 2020

In a “normal” year, the Empty Bowls Dinner raises anywhere from $25,000 to $30,000 to support Foodworks—the food shelf program of Groundworks Collaborative. The need is even greater this year as Foodworks is distributing twice as much food to our neighbors in need as a result of the impacts of COVID-19. Social distancing requirements and an abundance of caution have led us to redesign this critical fundraiser for 2020 as follows: Bowl Sales Handcrafted bowls made by local potters are available for $25 each (while supplies last) in a number of local business storefronts—including: Brattleboro Food Co-Op, Zephyr Designs, The Kitchen Sync, Everyone’s Books, The Shoe Tree, The Putney Food Co-Op, and the Putney General Store!
