Originally from Ireland, singer-songwriter Brendan Doherty has performed across Ireland, as well as the UK, Europe, USA, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Having launched his second studio album last year, "Feels Like Home," began when Brendan and his family relocated from Ireland to the Middle East, bringing amazing adventures, combined with thoughts of home.
A collection of Irish and Scottish traditional folk songs – a shared heritage for Brendan’s family – complemented with original tracks, together these songs create a beautifully sincere album.
Now based in the USA, Brendan enlisted renowned Nashville producer, Thomm Jutz (TJ Tunes), as well as some of Nashville’s finest musicians. Jutz's counter guitar playing; strings and harmonies by Andrea Zonn (James Taylor); traditional accordion and whistles by Jeff Taylor (Elvis Costello, Paul Simon, Harry Connick Jr., The Chieftains); and mandolin from Justin Mosses (Ricky Skaggs, Serria Hull, Dan Tyminski) - all combined together effortlessly on an album that truly Feels Like Home.
