Winter Lecture Series Pt 1 - Conservation Genetics

The Dummerston VT Conservation Commission will initiate their 2019 winter lecture series on Friday, Feb. 8, 10am-noon at the Evening Star Grange in Dummerston Center. The series is co-sponsored with the Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center. The overall topic this year is “Conservation Genetics and Wildlife Ecology.” Speakers will describe how recent research describing the genetic makeup (“genomics”) of animals and plants in our environment can be applied to improve conservation management outcomes.Filmed and Edited by Em Richards for BCTV
