"Our Lady of Jazz", Samirah Evans, has shared the stage with many legendary musicians including B.B. King, James Brown, The Neville Brothers....A successful Jazz and Blues vocalist in New Orleans, after Katrina she migrated to Brattleboro and is creating her own legend here at the Vermont Jazz Center and touring the Northeast.  Samirah also teaches Jazz Voice in her home studio and is currently Artist Associate in Jazz Voice at Williams College.
