WELCOME FESTIVAL COMMUNITY PERFORMANCE AT THE RIVER GARDENTIME: 1:00 PMLOCATION: The River GardenFEATURING: Melissa Texeira – Bedford Dance Ensemble, and San Francisco-based choreographer and dancer Dorcas Roman.Founded in 2012, the mission of Southern Vermont Dance Festival is to use the arts as a catalyst for economic growth in Brattleboro, Vermont. We do this by engaging local businesses as vendors, collaborating with local properties to create venues for site specific performances and partnering with local dance studios to host our dance education programs. By centralizing the festival's activities, we strategically drive visitors into the downtown Brattleboro area to enjoy our community's local businesses for shopping, eating and exploring.
