Ep 17 - Jim Matus

Ep #17 with Jim Matus, composer and laoutar player. Jim plays the laoutar, an electrified Greek Lute, which has an amazing sound. He is the third member of my World Fusion power trio Impulse Ensemble along with Tony Vacca​. I accompany him on some unusual instruments for the live music segment: the Javanese bonang - a set of 10 nipple gongs and the khaen - a Thai mouth organ.
