Get ready for art on BCTV! Mitchell Giddings Fine Arts worked with filmmaker Andy Reichsman of Ames Hill Video to record several artist talks at their gallery on Main Street in Brattleboro over the past few months. The videos will be aired on BCTV starting the week of January 9, and will be available on BCTV's website as they are released.

BCTV's 40th anniversary party exceeded all expectations - board members, volunteers and producers from four decades gathered to celebrate that, against the odds, the first public access center in VT survived its early years and is thriving now. Watch the montage of archive videos and see how far things have come technologically, and yet how people have remained involved and dedicated for many of the same reasons over time.

We are excited to announce that BCTV has won a national Hometown Media Award for "Overall Excellence in P. E. or G. Access" for budgets under $300,000. BCTV submitted a 20-minute video with excerpts from 15 programs produced in 2015, along with a writeup about our services and reach. BCTV staff will accept the award in Boston at a conference in August. "PEG" is short for Public, Education, Government, the type of programming produced at public access centers.
