Become a Member
Individual Membership:
BCTV membership is open to any individual who is:
- a resident of Windham County
- enrolled in a diploma or degree program at an educational institution located in Windham County
- employed by a business located in Windham County
- an employee, member, or volunteer of a non-profit organization located in Windham County and serving residents of Windham County.
- Residents under age 18 may join if a parent or guardian signs the membership form, assuming all legal and financial responsibility for the actions of the minor.
Organizational Membership:
BCTV membership is open to any non-profit that:
- has an office located in Windham County
- serves residents of Windham County
Benefits:
- Access to BCTV’s video production workshops
- Access to cameras, editing equipment, and a multi-camera television studio to produce programs
- Free channel time and online hosting for programs you produce
- Free channel time for programs you "sponsor" and submit (and have permission from the producer)
- Participation in BCTV as a voting member
- Eligibility for board of directors
- Vote on member business at the Annual Meeting if registered as a member at least 30 days prior to the meeting date (usually held the third week in September).
Membership Fees
Below are fees for Producing Members who want to use BCTV's equipment, facilities, and training services. If you want to support BCTV as a donor, please go to our Support page and make a donation.
Step 1: Join BCTV as a Producing Member. The fees are the same for Individuals and Organizations.
Basic Membership: $25.00 annual fee
Student (26 and under): $15.00 annual fee
Without paying any additional fees, Basic Membership entitles you to:
- Submit finished programs to air on BCTV's cable channels and be uploaded to BCTV's website and YouTube channel (unlimited).
- One individual training session (Basic Camera, Editing, Studio Production)
- Access to BCTV equipment and facilities according to the fee structure below.
- "Sponsor" a non-local program to air on BCTV
Step 2: Either pay by use (like a co-pay), or choose an Annual Package if you anticipate using BCTV equipment and/or editing and studio facilities regularly. (For more than 3-4 uses per year, a package has the best price.) Please call 802-257-0888 or email info(at)brattleborotv.org for guidance on your membership, or if the fees are a barrier.

Join by mail: Fill out BCTV's Membership Form. Your signature on the form indicates that you have read and agree to BCTV's Policies and Procedures. Please make your check out to BCTV and mail it in with your membership form to:
