Town Clerk’s request to post Registered Voter Checklist on Town Website
The Town Clerk has requested that the registered voter checklist, currently including voter names, addresses, and birthdates, be posted on the Town’s official website. The Selectboard will discuss this request and consider adoption of a policy governing website content, including the registered voter checklist. The discussion will focus on:
Compliance with Vermont statutes (17 V.S.A. §§ 2141–2144, 2154; 1 V.S.A. §§ 315–320).
Protection of confidential voter information.
Best practices for public access and risk management.

Discussion and possible adoption of a Selectboard policy governing content on the Town of Newfane’s official website, including the registered voter checklist. Should a dispute arise between myself and BCTV which cannot be resolved by direct negotiation, I agree that my sole and final recourse will be arbitration by the Vermont Public Service Board. e. I agree to abide by all BCTV Policies and Procedures.
