Mahalo Art Center Builds Peace And Community Through Music Festival
Imagine walking through outdoor gardens still blooming with green and the colors of fall while enjoying food that highlights some of Vermont's most impressive local cuisine around a warm fire throughout the day and night as music surrounds you. We invite you to join us on Friday, October 17 for the kick-off of the Mahalo Music Festival being held at Mahalo Art Center in West Brattleboro. Among the presenters are Tony Vacca, Rupa Cousins, Bob Stabach, and Sarah Pirtle. The line-up also includes special guest Crystal Cymbalogy from Newtown, CT who will lead a community healing concert as part of the Sunday afternoon grand finale of presentations. Partial proceeds from this event are being contributed to Project Feed the Thousands.
About the Mahalo Art Center
Mahalo Art Center is an ever evolving community of people of all ages who are consciously creating culture, from the inside out. Special attention is given to visions and creative aspirations, and to having these come into fruition. Landscaping, gardening, permaculture perspectives, innovative architectural design and respect for nature help guide each step of our process when working with gardens, wetlands, conifer zones, human dwellings, workspaces and the sound healing temple.
At Mahalo Art Center, wellness includes the ability to create one's life as a work of art that enhances the wellness of the whole. Mahalo Art Center provides retreats and professional trainings for leaders, teachers and healers. Our programs include therapeutic explorations of what it is to be a whole human being, via ancient and modern nature-connected healing and expressive arts, including visual arts, dance, theatre, music and writing. The center is available for individuals and groups, for therapy, retreats and events.
