Brattleboro Area Homelessness Awareness Day Vigil. January 27, 2021 is Homelessness Awareness Day. There are many events scheduled statewide on this day—including the statewide events taking place on Zoom, which will be live streamed on the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition's YouTube channel (see link below). This year has been stressful in so many ways. Community connection is more vital than it's ever been before. The efforts put forth by our state and local government during this unprecedented time has been nothing short of amazing. Throughout 2020 we have consistently seen a dramatic increase in the number of folks needing to access emergency shelter and supportive services in our community.
