Description:

Ensuring families have basic needs met, like diapers, alongside food security, has been a massive challenge during the COVID-19 crisis. In a testament to Vermonters stepping up to support each other, all-volunteers efforts sprung up to make sure families had what they needed. Vermont Senate President Tim Ashe speaks with Amanda Herzberger of the Junior League of Champlain Valley. Their mission is to be an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Thanks to all of them and to you for watching.
