A Rally of Hope after the US Senate acquited Donald Trump in Pliny Park, Brattleboro, VT.
A rally, organized at the last minute by Tony Duncan on social media, held at 5:30 pm on February 5th, 2020 at the Pliny Park in downtown Brattleboro. Over 50 people attended even though the temperature dropped to 34 degrees.
Several people spoke about voting, the travesty of the impeachment acquital, and honoring military officers who refused to obey unconstitutional orders. The group sang three songs, lead by 3 different participants.
The rally was inspired by the Action Network that Tony saw on Facebook. The next closest rally was in Springfield, MA
