 Alice Fogel is New Hampshire Poet Laureate. Her latest collection of poetry, "Intervals" was inspired by Johan Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations.  Fogel adopts  a 32-line structure in keeping with the 32 bar format of the Goldbergs evoking Bach's musical masterpiece through language. "intervals" won the Nicholas Schaffner Award for Music in Literature. Her collection "Be That Empty" was a national poetry best seller.

 Chard deNiord is Vermont Poet Laureate, and the author of five collections of poems. His latest collection "Interstate" as well as  "The Double Truth" and "Night Mowing" will be published  later this year.  A resident of Putney, Vt., deNiord is a Professor of English at Providence College.
