Prof. Huck Gutman 3/6/19

UVM professor emeritus Huck Gutman discusses how William Wordsworth became the most revolutionary, and possibly the most influential, poet of the past 250 years. Sometimes described as a “plain” and “simple” person, he was a strange, yet pathbreaking poet who resisted writing poems that preened and waxed self-referentially about being poems. For more information, check out William Wordsworth page at, and “Poetry Professor and Politico Huck Gutman Nears His Last Verse at UVM,” Seven Days, 11/22/2017.
