Bob Walker, with the Building Performance Professionals Associates, explains the program called ZEN, Zero Energy Now. Zen is a Green Mountain Power energy improvement financing program for residents who were formerly served by CVPS (Central Vermont Power Service).
The BPPA is the administrator for the program. Specific contractors assest the energy improvement needs and if a building qualifies, will do the work.
Veermont State Employees Credit Union (VSECU) offers loan interest financing plans.
