SEON: Regional Roundtable - Zero Energy Now Program 2/23/16

The Windham County Regional Round Table of Energy Committees organized by the Vermont Energy & Climate Action Network (VECAN) brought together representatives of town energy committees from Brattleboro, Dummerston, Putney, Rockingham, Westminster and others to share their local initiatives.
After the meeting, the video begins with a presentation of the Zero Energy Now program sponsored by Green Mountain Power. Robert Walker and Jonathan Dancing presented how the program is intented to work. This meeting was a chance to get feed back from the local energy committees on the presented ZEN-VT program.
ZEN-VT offers several incentives for qualified projects to substantually reduce their Btu consumption, particularly from fuel oil and electricity. The incentives are available to homes and buildings that were former CVPS customers.
The presenters also answered many questions from the people at the meeting. The presentation is particularly intented for contractors and energy committees. ZEN plans to produce a video and printed material for the general public soon.
