This is the last of four videos of the series " A Buddhist Politics in Challenging Times" presented by Mr. Tom Redden, PhD, at Putney Cares in Putney, Vermont, from May 23, through June 6, 13, and 20, 2017Mr. Redden is a professor of history and politics at Southern Vermont college, in Bennnington, Vermont. Mr. Redden is also an ordained zen buddhist priest in the zen peacemaker order, and have maintaineda 39-year daily meditation practice. This last video, session iv, is titled "A Bodhisattva Rrmy." Mr. Redden focus on our individual lives and spiritual practices together with our political/social engagement, whether we are activists or not. Mr. Redden also explores "the path of the bodhisattva, the archetype figure of compassion in buddhism who "hears the cries of the world," and commits herself to a life of service to help heal the world.
