Journey East: Finding Your Place

Journey East has given hundreds of local students a glimpse of the world as they spend a semester immersed in Asian studies, performing, and interacting with peers on the road through the People’s Republic of China and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In exchange, Chinese and Mongolian students come to America to experience our culture and to perform their traditional music and dance.

The Documentary Project sheds light on this cultural exchange in hopes that it will inspire others to try new things and to go to new places outside of their comfort zone.
